Mission statement

1. To let our students learn to love music and dance.

This is most likely to be accomplished when they are allowed to choose their own learning speed and style. Our coursess are uniquely designed to facilitate this sort of learning. We  provide the environment, and the  foundation, and we expect our students to give us the very best they are comfortable giving. Music and dance should first be loved, and later mastered. Students will achieve in areas they love.

2. To foster group and family bonding opportunities.

Another of Harmony Road's unique strengths is the focus on relationships. Group dynamics should be developed within your classes similar to that of a sports team. We should use positive peer pressure to encourage each individual to excel. It is often the strongest groups that promote the strongest individual accomplishments.

We understand parents do not have unlimited time to spend with their children. This class time should be seen as more than just an hour out of your week. This is invaluable bonding time, creating a mutual interest. Take advantage of this 'free' lesson for you. If your child sees you enjoying and learning, they will emulate your excitement. A patient, involved parent is an invaluable asset.

3. To provide professional training.

A competent teacher becomes a role model for the next generation. We recognize the need for teachers who are experienced and trained. A good teacher is difficult to come by in any discipline. We are committed to acquiring and training skilled teachers who value the Harmony Road approach.

If any aspect of our program is not living up to your expectations of professionalism, we will be happy to take your feedback and work to correct the problem.
